In Order to apply payments correctly please make sure to do the following:

• Acceptable forms of payments in person are: Checks (personal, business, money orders, bank checks), Cash, Credit/Debit cards (2.5% fee to State of Maine)

•  Make checks payable to York Sewer District

​

• Enclose the top portion of your invoice which indicates your name, service location, account-customer number, and amount to pay.

 

• Include your YSD account-customer number or service location on the check to ensure payments are applied appropriately.  Per policy payments received are applied to the oldest outstanding amounts due.

Please note the following:

We do not accept payments over the phone.

We do not accept post dated checks.

Returned checks will be subject to a $30 fee

Credit/Debit transactions subject to 2.5% fee
